WE made it

Posted: 03/06/2014

On the 7th June 2014, 21 members of the company made it to the summit of Mount Snowdon and down again. The walk was in memory of Colin Earl who had worked with MF Hydraulics for 30 years and sadly died of cancer last year.

The morning of the 7th, the team awoke to a massive thunderstorm knocking the power out at their hotel. By 9am the team had started their journey in t-shirts but as they got higher up the mountain the temperature started to drop and with that, the rain with sleet gave them all a good soaking.

The quickest of the team were Nick and Ben Ford who completed the walk in just over 4 hours. While the rest trailed behind with the slowest arrival taking 7.5 hours.

The money raised will be split between Colin's chosen charities - Macmillan Support & Florence Nightingale Hospice. There is still time to donate at:-

Congratulations to all the team involved and well done for all the money raised so far - Colin would be proud.
